Mere words: Is this all you have to offer? After all, don’t actions speak louder than words? Why more words?
Mere words: who can neglect their importance? Nothing but squiggles on a piece of paper. But when ordered, these squiggles become words, sentences, sentences, paragraphs; they take on meaning.
Words touch. Words motivate. Words challenge. Words change. Words provoke. They bring smiles or tears. They bring hope or despair. They bridge gaps or they create chasms.
I’ve lived with words most of my life. I use them to communicate. I use them to teach. I teach them. I change them from one coded system (language) to another – the result has, at times, been hilarious. Nobody’s perfect. And now more recently, I’ve started to use them to create fiction for others to read.
You’ll find examples of each of these here. They are my words. As such, you’ll find out a lot about me. But words are never a one way street. So I hope you’ll leave your words too. They are just as important as mine.
